What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you generate a question pack we record the role and company you targeted, which of your brains you selected, and the questions produced (question text, why interviewers ask it, a model answer, and a citation pointer to the brain page each answer drew on). Your practice self-grades and timestamps are stored to power the weak-spot queue and stats.

What we don't collect

We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell, share, or resell anything you generate. Every pack belongs to the account that made it.

Where data lives

Application data (packs, questions, practice history, credit ledger entries) is stored in a single Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Your brain content itself stays on ounie.com — Interview Prep reads it at generation time through Ounie's API as you, and never keeps a copy of your sources.

Payments

Payments happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes credit purchases. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. Stripe's privacy policy lives at stripe.com/privacy.

Your brain content

Questions and answers are generated only from the brains you own and select, fetched through Ounie's API with your own session — Interview Prep can never see anyone else's brain, and never stores your sources. Deleting a pack deletes its questions and your practice history for it; your brain on ounie.com is untouched.

Deletion

To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
